Although we are some 5 months later since Steves passing you know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you who we have know for a long time. God gives the courage and strength to those who ask especially at the low times.

Valeria, James & April, the first time I meet Steve he became a lifelong friend. I think I may have been more upset when Steve was sent to Dessert Storm than Valerie. He was training me to use MacDraw and I had lots more I needed to learn. It was just a few days after Steve informed me he was leaving that I meet Valerie. I have loved them as my own family members. Time, work, and family obligations separated us over time except for Tax Season. Valerie and I use Tax Preparation Time to catch up on what has gone on in our lives during the past year. Before I retired, Steve and I would occasionally see each other in the hallways of the Sparkman Center. We always stopped to catch up with each others lives. Steve was a good friend, always willing help. I am so thank I had the opportunity to know him. Love you Valeria. Doris Dam
