We have been friends with the Shelbys since Madison was at MVMS. My memories of him are at HGHS games and going to Gadsden for a game with Glenn and Maria. He was very kind and just had a good sense of humor. He was a blessed man who is loved by a wonderful family and friends.

Glenn and Maria took me to raise. As a single mom, they have changed my oil in my vehicle and lawn mower, helped with yard work, brought meals, babysat my kids numerous times., offered encouragement, so many things. He touched so many lives in positive ways and never wanted attention for it, Maria and Madison, I love you both and we will all take care of you.

Glenn often made fun of Billy & I making fun of of our slang "What up yo?" he would greet us. Glenn was a great man, friend, husband, father and dear Christian brother. We love you Shelby family. RIP Glenn!! Bobby Gentle
