Calvin I called him "CAL CAL" he would give you the shirt off his back if you asked.
He was one of those TRUE FRIENDS you could call on in a time of need.
I go by his house and can not help myself I look up there and say CAL CAL.
We love and miss him dearly.

We miss Calvin, already. My grandchildren loved to play in his yard, and he would, occassionally, give them treats, such as ice cream or watermelon.
He would alway holler across the road to us if none of us felt able to walk across, but sometime would sit on our porch and talk. Our children ran errands for him and drove him places. He would call them if he needed help. He always asked us to watch his house. During bad weather, he was one of our family in ou storm shelter.
I feel sad when I walk out and look across the road to see if everything is okay. Then I remember he is in the place with no more pain .
