So very sorry to hear of the passing of Jean. I met Jean and some of the family some years ago through my brother-in-law Robert Smith and sister Lavenia Smith. She was a big part of the Smith family. I know she will be missed by all. Such a very sweet lady. Prayers for the family

You will always be sorely missed Ms Jean. When I moved away I missed the chicken stew you always sent me when I came down with a cold......and the way you always made me laugh.

Jean was a family member that I never had the opportunity to get to know, as is the way with distant cousins, yet I certainly could see the light that she was, shining bright through her Facebook posts and family reunions...I know those close to her are feeling the great loss of such a warm soul...my condolences.

I knew Jean from Lincoln Elementary and Flintville High Schools! She wasn't in my class, but I still remember her well. She always had a smile on her face and had happy remarks! I became friends with her on Facebook, after my retirement, and always enjoyed her post. It sadden me when I read her post about having cancer and prayed often for her!
I know Jean is in heaven today and I am truly happy for her, but sad for her family and friends! I loved Jean and sorry I did not get an opportunity to know her as an adult! I'm sure my life would have be touched and blessed by her beautiful smile!
God's blessing on all of her family and friends!

Jean and I always had something to talk about with us sharing the same great-children Gavin and Ashtyn. I still remember all the good food and the friendships shared at the the Village Corner. She was a fun loving person and was so easy to talk too. I am glad to know that her suffering her on earth is over and that she has passed to the other side. She will be remembered and missed by so many.

I am Jean's first cousin. We were very close as children. Me and my siblings would visit their farm in the summer. We worked hard on the farm and even harder playing and enjoying each others company. I left for the Air Force and we lost touch for a number of years. When my family relocated back to the area we reconnected as if we had lost no time together. I loved her dearly and she will always have a special place in my heart. Love you Jean!
