Yvonne Eleanor (Stone) Grierson

Yvonne Eleanor Stone Grierson was born March 16, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut to Emilia Pignone and Leon Stone.

Yvonne, or Eve, as many called her, atended Noah Webster Grammar School and then matured to Hartford High School. Yvonne was first and foremost a homemaker, but was also a Data Entry Clerk for the Superior Court House in New Britain for nearly 20 years, until she retired.

Yvonne and Daniel Grierson Sr. were joined in holy matrimony by Reverend Carlson at the United Methodist Church in Hartford on December 13, 1965. To their union, two children were born. 

Yvonne enjoyed cooking, cake decorating, and spending time with her family, and many dogs, throughout the years.

Eve departed to heaven on January 29, 2020. She was preceded in death by her brother, Peter "The Candy Man" Stone, and her sister, Irene S. Willard.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Daniel J. Grierson Sr., her children Daniel J. Grierson Jr. and Danisha L. Grierson; her granddaughters, Corissa M. Wilson and Caitlin E. Harvey; her two great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, niece and friends.
