William Payne Obituary

William (Tooter) Franklin Payne, of Park City Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:55 am, in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Wanda Faye Hambrick Payne, 3 daughters: Debbie Payne Lambert, Pamela Payne Underwood, and Sonya Renee Payne; 2 sons-in-law: Tim Lambert, David Underwood; eight grandchildren: Jordan Lambert, Shea Lambert, Kaylee Lambert Dunn, Brandy Underwood Vanderpool, Michael Underwood, Daniel Underwood, Austin Lockard, and Zachary Lockard; great grandchildren: Hayden Nunley, Lylah Lambert, Lily Dunn, Noah Dunn, Ava Dunn, one new Dunn baby (due May 2022), Emma Vanderpool, Avery Vanderpool, Everett Vanderpool, Hudson Underwood, Adaline Underwood and Beckham Underwood; along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford Ezell Payne and Sarah Texas Waller; siblings: Pearl Payne Gustin, Alma Payne Wolaver, Hazel Payne Hill, Oleen Payne Askins, Dorothy Payne Kay, Ray Payne, and Cliff Payne Jr. as well as several sisters in law and brothers in law.

Our daddy was a greatly loved and respected man.  He will be enormously missed.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
