Sandra (Bennett) McCormick

Sandra "Sandy" Bennett McCormick of Hazel Green went to be with the Lord on Monday while at her home with loved ones.  She was 58. 

Sandy grew up in Huntsville and attended Butler High School.  She was a devoted mother, a faithful Christian, and a member of Awaken Life Church.  She was kind and caring - always putting the needs of others before her own.    She would say that her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter and grandchildren who she loved dearly.   She also enjoyed exploring nature and crafting.  

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Joan & Bob DeRamus; Her bonus father, Buddy Bennett;  Her brother, Michael Bennett;  Her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth & Terry Haltiwanger

Surviving family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Nichole & Andy Bolden;  Her father and step-mother, Howard & Pat Jones;  Her two grandchildren:  Jase Bolden and Andrea Bolden;  Her siblings:  William Jones,  Michael Jones, and Renee Jones;  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be Monday, March 13, 2023 at 2pm at Awaken Life Church located at 290 Ardmore Highway; Fayetteville, TN 37334;  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1pm.  

Sandy will be remembered for her beautiful, unforgettable personality, her infectious laugh, her smile, and the joy she brought to the lives of those around her.
