Rosemary Hovatter

Mrs. Rosemary Hovatter was born to Jessie and Fred Benlehr on April 27, 1934 in Wilmington, Ohio. Where she was educated and lived until January 10,1954. She married Arlie Hovatter and moved to Fairborn, Ohio where Arlie worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. 

They were blessed with three children, Tom, Freddie, and Nancy. In 1957 they moved to Huntsville, Alabama where Arlie worked at the arsenal.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Rogers, Mother, Father, and Sister.

Mrs. Rosemary passed away June 7, 2020. She left behind her children, Tom and his wife Graceann, Freddie and his wife Lou; her 3 grandchildren, Rick, Justin, and Alison; 5 great- grandchildren, Becca, Adrianne, Hannah, Zack and Taylor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Rosemary was a member of Hazel Green First Baptist Church and The Eastern Star. She was also a Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls and was inducted into the Southern League Baseball Hall of Fame.

The family will be accepting friends from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Hazel Green Funeral home. The memorial service will follow at 12:00PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
