Randy Boyett

Randy Boyett, 65, of Pulaski, Tennessee, originally of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Monday.  

He had retired from General Electric where he worked as a welder.  He loved raising cattle, his hunting dogs, being outdoors, fishing, Alabama football and Nascar racing. He also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, his uncles and his many cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar O. & Ruthie Irene Boyett; His brother, Donald O. Boyett;  His father-in-law, J.B. Sledge. His sister-in-law, Blanche Boyett. 

Surviving family members include his wife, Sonya Boyett;  His son, Randy (Morrisa) Boyett Jr;  His daughters: Cindy Gowan, Kimberly Brazier, and Rachel Jones;  His nine grandchildren: William Gowan, Lillian Gowan, Brennan Jones, Kaiden Jones, Colton McBride, Kinley Eaves, Waylon Eaves, Ellie Sineath, and Bradley Sineath; His brothers: Dewey E. Boyett, Leroy (Carol) Boyett, Kenneth L. (Sheila) Boyett, Chester (Dianne) Boyett, Douglas (Connie) Boyett, Horace (Darlene) Boyett; Jackie (Cheryl) Boyett, ;  His sister, Lesa (Tim) Boyett; His mother-in-law, Dovie Sledge;  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Friday at 3:30pm at the funeral home with Bishop Harold St.Clair officiating.  Burial will follow the service and will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.  

Casket bearers will be Tommy Boyett, Chester Boyett, Scott Boyett, Jacob Sledge, Josheua Sledge, and Patrick McBride.
