Linda Jean Holland Profile Photo

Linda Jean Holland, age 80, lived in Hazel Green for over 20 years. Most of the younger people knew her as Granny. She was a beautiful person; enjoyed life all the time. She loved her poodle, Daisy, and thought of her as her “Little Baby Daisy.”  She will be truly missed by many. She loved her family, and she tried to help anyone whenever she could.  She enjoyed planting flowers in the yard. She loved anything gardening and anything to do with the outside.

She was the best Mama, Grandmother and best friend anybody could ever have. I’m going to miss you, Mama; you were my very best friend.

Linda is survived by her daughters: Donna Leusby, Vickey Marshall, and Johnnie P. Latham; her grandchildren: Brandon Balke, Auston Balke, Storm Leusby, Carmen Marshall, Jeremy Marshall, Johnny Marshall, Jessica Jackson, Nick Latham, and Brock Gooch; her great-grandchildren: Victoria Marshall, Tasha Marshall, Calicee Marshall, Cash Wesley Marshall, Lotus Sunshine Marshall, Lilly Rain Marshall, Madilynn Nichole Marshall, Chloe Rayne Pavao, Micah Avery Pavao, Gabriel Latham, and Daniel Jackson; and her sisters: Iris June Fondren, Ressie Tidmore, Sherrie Bagsby, and Melba Coats.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 15, from 12:00 - 1:00 at Hazel Green Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1:00. Burial will follow at New Sharon Cemetery.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
