Jackie Ray Hill

Jackie Ray Hill, 72, of Hazel Green, AL went to be with the Lord while surrounded by his loving family on Sunday after a courageous battle with Lung cancer.

Mr. Hill was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and recently retired as a pool contractor.  He enjoyed being with his family, working in the garden, restoring Farmall tractors, and spending time at his home away from home, South Sauty.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Reedus & Virginia Brady Hill.  Surviving family members include his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Pat) Hill; his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Brian Riddle; his son and daughter-in-law, Scotty and Heather Hill; his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Shane Scott.  His grandchildren Holly (Marcus) Hunter, Justin Riddle, Morgan Riddle, Courtney (James) Watson, Drew Scott, Dakota Hill, Logan Scott, and Hannah Grace Riddle; and one great grandchild, Dawson Watson.

Jackie is also survived by his sisters Betty Miles, Patricia Raines, Anita Mellot, Renee Hill, and his brother, Eddie Hill. He will be missed by many more family and friends who loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5PM to 8PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The Funeral service will be Wednesday 1:00PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Drew Scott, Logan Scott, Dakota Hill, Jason Britton, Eddie Hill, Marcus Hunter, James Watson, and Jeff Enzer.  Ronnie Bullock will serve as an honorary Pallbearer.
