Fredna Ruth White, 93, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday.
She was a loving wife, mother of eight children, and a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafts and had operated a craft shop. She also enjoyed sewing. She was a Christian and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ed White; Her great-grandson, Landon Johns; Her siblings: Kenneth Pinkstaff, Donald Pinkstaff, Frances McCune, Margaret Duckett, and Mary Alice Morrow. Her parents: Arville & Ida Mai Pinkstaff.
Surviving family members include her children: George (Martha) White Jr, Jimmy (Joann) White, Debbie Taylor, Rick (Paula) White, Diane (Porter) Clark, Randy (Renee) White, Joy (Tim) Jean, and Delane (Lane) Grissom. 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Her sisters: Doris Jean Hamlin and Patricia Edmondson.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 10am until 12:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 1pm at Prospect Cemetery with Pastor Milton Martin officiating.
