David Edward Brazier

David Edward Brazier, 72, a long-time resident of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday evening at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

He was a devoted husband, loving daddy, and the best uncle any kid could ask for.  He was the definition of an Alabama fan.  

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy Brazier;  His daughter and son-in-law, Cyndi & Jerry Foster;  His grandsons, Jason, Jacob (Haylee) and Josh Foster - all of Hazel Green; He is also survived by his darlin and many loved nieces and nephews.  

David was preceded in death by his parents, RB and Rena Brazier; His seven siblings, his father-in-law, Freddie Armstrong;  His mother-in-law, Betty Knighten;  His great-grand-daughter, Ariana Willow.

The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Amedysis Hospice for the tenderness and sensitivity you showed to David during his time at home.  Thank you for your compassion for our entire family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11am until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Luke Murphy officiating. Burial will then be in Golighty Cemetery.
