Chase Heintzelman Obituary

Chase Alexander Heintzelman age 32, of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away the morning of Friday October 18th, 2019 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Chase put being a daddy and father first, his sons were his whole world and he lived and breathed for them. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle and would do anything for his family. He had a passion for Marine Biology and his favorite place to be was in the ocean. He was able to find light in the darkest situations. He loved to put a smile on people’s faces, and could easily do that with his contagious laugh. There truly aren’t enough words to describe how much he will be missed.

Chase was preceded in death by his grandparents Bobby "Pawpaw" and Phyllis Compton “Gran” and his sons Levi and Noah Heintzelman. Survivors included his wife Hollye Heintzelman, his sons Creek and Sean Heintzelman, his mother and stepfather Kathleen and Sammy Burditt, his father Richard Heintzelman, his Aunt and Uncle Japper and Robin Compton. Sibling; Cody, Margaret, Lillian, Ella, Samuel, and Esther Heintzelman, Chris Fanning and his wife, Teresa, and Wesley Fanning and his wife, Amber Berg, and a whole host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 3pm Tuesday October 22nd, 2019 at Lakewood Baptist Church with Pastor Terrell Boyd officiating. The family will begin to receive friends and loved ones at 1pm. Burial will follow the services and will be at Charity Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cody, Margaret, Lillian, Ella, Samuel, Esther Heintzelman, Chris and Wesley Fanning, Japper Compton, Aaron O’Neal, Robby Moore, Jarett Waldon and Drake Kale.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Hazel Green Funeral Home and thank the kind and caring staff for all they have done to help their family. The family would also like to thank Lakewood Baptist Church for all their love and support.
