Billy "Buck Billy" Taylor

Billy Wayne Taylor (Buck Billy) of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away suddenly December 20, 2020 after reaching the age of 73 years old. 

Funeral Services will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home Monday, December 28, 2020, visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m..  Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating with burial to follow at Concord Cemetery.

He had an infinite love for his childhood sweetheart, Shela Jan.  He enjoyed music, fishing, westerns, and vintage car shows.  He had a special forever love for his grand and great grandchildren.  He never missed a sporting event, pageant, family gatherings or birthdays and was always there to help anyone at any time.  He will always be known for being a humble and loving soul.  Everyone will remember his smile, pranks and unconditional love, and an abundance of wonderful memories.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Shela Jan Watson Taylor; his sons: Troy Neal Taylor (Becky), Nathaniel Wayne Taylor (Lori); granddaughters; Courtney Stallings, Cierra Taylor and Mary Lynn Byrom; Grandson Collin Mundy (Emily); Great Grandsons: Wyatt Stalings, Tanner King, and Lane Mundy; Great Granddaughters: Kensleigh King, Everleigh Taylor; Brothers: Larry Taylor (Linda), Ronnie Taylor (Sherry), Michael Taylor; Sisters: Shirley Nunn, Kathy Hamaker;  as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William (Bill) Franklin and Frances Coleman Taylor; Brother; David Lee Taylor; Sister in law: Jessica Taylor; Brother in laws: Dewight Hamaker, Paul Nunn.
