William Ray Teague

Mr William Ray Teague, the son of the late Hollis R. & Odell Davis Teague, of New Market passed away on Tuesday. He was 77 and was a faithful member of Mountain View Free Holiness Church. He had received the Holy Ghost 37 months and two days before he went to be with the Lord.

William loved to barbeque and was always involved in cooking for his church and community. He loved his church and lovingly maintained the church grounds until he was no longer able.

Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Kimbrough Teague; his brother, Roger Wayne Teague.

Surviving family members include his son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Melissa Teague; his four sisters, Alice George, Mary (James Marvin) Howard, Nancy Baker, and Dawn (Roger) Anderson; his grandchildren: Tanner (Cyndi) Teague, Olivia Teague, and Aleyah Teague; his great-grandson: Blaze Teague. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5pm until 8pm at Mountain View Free Holiness Church in Elora. Funeral services will be Friday at 2pm at the church with Brother Bruce Brazier and Brother Dennis George officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Charity Cemetery.
