William R. "Bob" Church

William R. “Bob” Church of Hazel Green passed away on Monday at the age of 83.

Mr. Church was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He was affectionately known as “Big Bob” by many who knew him.

He farmed with his father for a number of years before beginning a career in the glass business, where he worked for more than 20 years. Mr. Church was a Christian and, for the past ten years, had been a member of Plainview Church of Christ.

Surviving family members include his wife, Rosa Page Church; his daughter, Sundy Church Phares; his daughter, Cara Church Ojeda; his son, Jeff Church; his sister, Joyce Bolt; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a private family burial in Huntsville Memory Gardens. The family will announce a public Celebration of Life soon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AGAPE or to a charity of your choice.
