Vickie Cagle Scott

Vickie Lynn Cagle Scott, 66, of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, surrounded by family.

She is survived by her doting husband, Phillip Scott; her loving brothers, Mark Cagle and Randy Cagle; her child, Amie (Mark) Glasgow; her stepchildren, Ashley Scott Jones and Chasity Perry; her four grandchildren, Elisabeth (Michael) Rios, Angela Glasgow, James Glasgow, and Hillary (Brandon) Campbell; her three step-grandchildren, Riley Forrester, Aslan Puryear, and Sutton Perry; her great-grandchild, Liliana Campbell; her great-step-grandchild, Jaxtyn Forrester; her sister-in-law, Theresa Cagle; her nephew, Wayne Cagle; and her great-nephews, Hunter Cagle and Patrick Cagle.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry “Bubba” Lewis; her parents, Kelly “Buck” and Virginia Mae Cagle; and her brother, Ricky Cagle.

We lament the memories we wished we could have made. While our shared journey was often challenging, her absence leaves an undeniable sense of loss. May she find the peace she sought on Earth.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 11am till 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Miller Cemetery following the service.
