Tony Combs

Tony Lee Combs, 66, of Meridianville, AL, formally of Chickamauga, GA, took the hands of the angels and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday June 09, 2025 surrounded by love at his home.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Dorae Dawn (Ostrzycki) Combs; his son Jeremy and daughter-in-love Danielle Combs of Madison, AL; his daughter Nicole and son-in-love Chase Burns of Hazel Green, AL; his 10 grandchildren: Hannah Combs, Camryn Combs, Olivia Combs, Paige Combs, Caroline Combs, Tucker Bailey, Allison Bailey, Isaac Burns, Jayce Burns, Layla Burns, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony was born in Lafayette, Georgia, the son of the late Winston and Jeanette (Blackwell) Combs. Tony married Dorae on June 22, 1978 and they lived in the Chickamauga, GA and Chattanooga, TN areas until they moved to Huntsville, AL in 1990. Tony was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing pool and his guitars.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his mother-in –love Becky Ostrzycki, and nephew Jeremy Ross “J.R.” Pinder.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from Noon until the time of service at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home, 13921 US 231-431 North, Hazel Green AL. Pastor Lon Ostrzycki and Pastor Alan Ostrzycki will be officiating. Interment will follow in Charity Cemetery.
