Tommie Lois Fanning Davis

Funeral services for Tommie Lois Davis age 95 of Atlanta formerly of Chattanooga will be conducted Thursday 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Stover officiating and burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Mrs. Davis passed away Monday morning at her Atlanta residence. She was born in Gurley, Alabama January 5, 1925 the daughter of the late Walter Fanning and Mary Willie Hess Fanning and was a resident of New Market until 1968 and in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Davis Sr. and by one daughter, Toni Davis, two sons, Gene Davis and Jim Davis.
She is survived by one son, Charles Davis and his wife, JoAnn, one sister, Gladys Tipton, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Private family visitation and services will be held Thursday at 5pm CST.
