Teresa Honea

Teresa Meadows Honea, 61, of Meridianville, went to be with the Lord, and with her son and daughter, on Saturday.

Her heart was filled with joy because she loved life, she loved her friends and her family, and enjoyed spending time talking with others.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Meadows;  By her daughter, Leslie Honea Morrison, and by her son,  Justin Michael Honea.

Her surviving family members include her husband of 43 years, Donald R. Honea;  Her mother, Betty Meadows;   Her granddaughter, Sharon Morrison;  Her twin sister, Lisa (Robert) Smith;  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday 1/17 from 7 to 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1pm at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
