Sylvia Ciccarelli, of Hazel Green, passed away on March 7, 2021.

Sylvia was born in 1950 in Norwich, CT to parents Joseph and Yvonne Coppo.  She married Patrick Ciccarelli on May 29, 1967.  In 1987 she graduated from Mattatuck Community College with a degree in radiology.  She was a very energetic, busy person.  You could always find her gardening, reading, writing, or cooking. She had a way of making anything beautiful, especially her yard and house.  A lot of her time was also spent taking care of her family.  She was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and wife as well as a good daughter, sister and friend.  She was a lifelong resident of Connecticut until 2017 when she moved to Hazel Green to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Patrick Ciccarelli ; 3 children, Linda Palmer ( and husband Mark ), Leonard Ciccarelli (and Marysol Gonzalez ), and Eric Ciccarelli ; 2 grandsons, Joshua and Noah Palmer.  She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Coppo of NYC, New York and Paul Coppo of Westerly, RI .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Yvonne Coppo.

There will be a small Catholic service at Hazel Green Funeral Home on April 12th beginning at 1:00.
