Sawyer Nicole Crosslin

Sawyer Nicole Crosslin, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, specifically the Lincoln community, passed away on Friday morning. She was five years old.

Though her time on earth was brief, Sawyer’s life was filled with personality, curiosity, and joy. She loved watching Baby Shark, was a huge Disney fan and loved Trolls, Frozen, and The Little Mermaid. Sawyer knew what she wanted and had a special way of lovingly convincing her family to go along with her plans. She enjoyed learning, exploring, and figuring things out, and her sweet smile and strong will left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Brenda Whittle and Mike Crosslin; her aunt, Brandy Crosslin; and her great-grandparents, Price and Martha Crosslin, and Joyce and Byron Smith.

She is survived by her loving parents, Jeremy and Mandi Crosslin; her sisters, Taylor Crosslin and Bella Crosslin; her grandmother, Kim Cooper; her grandparents, Nannie and Pawpaw Hillis; her aunts, Jessica Sherlin, Brittany Whittle, Katrina Whittle, and Lucy Whittle; her uncle, James Whittle; and her great-aunts, Alethia Crosslin Birmingham, Becky Crosslin Vaughn, and Rita Crosslin Lufriu. She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and special family friends who will forever cherish her memory.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A celebration of Sawyer’s life will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Ronnie Thomas officiating. A committal service will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
