Sarah Faith Cartelli

Sarah Faith Cartelli, age 76, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born on March 21, 1949, in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Faith was truly a loving person. She found great joy in caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known affectionately as “Granny” and “Great Nana,” she loved to cook when she was able and was always generous in sharing her delicious recipes. She was a loving mother who cherished her extended family deeply. Anything she did, she did her absolute best and worked diligently toward perfection. Faith consistently volunteered for many years in her friend Karen Woolridge's classroom in Metropolitan Nashville Public schools, making an impact on hundreds of children's lives. She was a great organizer and used her gifts to work with families to help them in this way.
Faith truly lived up to her name—she was faithful, determined, and dedicated in everything she did. Faith’s love, strength, and generous spirit will be remembered always by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ross E. Jones; her mother, Dorothea Louise Leming Jones; her stepmother, Janet Jones; her brother, Daniel Jones; and husband, Dominic J. Cartelli.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Cartelli Bailey and Kellie A. Cartelli (Joe Kane); her grandchildren, Joshua Cartelli, Rachel Smith, Whitney Cartelli, Maegan (Shauli) Greenspan and Samantha Kane; and her great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Allyson  John Paul, Aurora, Chanel, Isabel, Joseph, Erica, Camden, Eli, Zevi, Amelia, Alaiyah, Adeline and Christian. She is also survived by; her brother Stephen Jones (Rebecca); her sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Jones, and Joanne Raines (Bob); as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A family gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at New Sharon Cemetery.
