Roger Dale Lankford

Roger Dale Lankford, age 73, of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Dianne Lankford. He was a son of the late Luther Lloyd Lankford and Mary Alice Lankford. Roger was an Alabama native and retired from Parker Hannifin in 2010.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lankford Mason and husband Josh Mason; daughter, Tina Powell and husband Jason Powell; grandchildren, Hayden Mason, Kaitlyn Kelley, Matthew Kelley, Hali Powell, and Jed Powell; great-grandson, Walker Kelley; brother, David Lankford and wife Linda; sisters-in-law, Martha Layton and Jerry Edge, Kay Campbell and husband Bradford, and Sandra Moore; along with many other family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends whom he cherished throughout his lifetime and held near to his heart.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the Gentiva Hospice team for the wonderful care they provided to their sweet daddy. On behalf of the Lankford and Mason families, thank you.

Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tennessee, with Pastor Randy Watts officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hazel Green Funeral Home in support of other families in need.
