Roger Barbour

Roger Dale Barbour, 71, of Flintville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday while surrounded by his loving family. Roger was a Christian and a member of Zion Assembly Church of God. He also enjoyed worshipping with family and friends at the Hazel Green Church of God of Prophecy. He was a professional truck driver and enjoyed his work.

Mr. Barbour was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Russell; his step-mother, Vera Barbour; his father, Earl Barbour; his father-in-law, Albert Wharton; his stepfather-in-law, Glenn Holder; his granddaughter, Brooklyn Rose Gregory; his brothers, Kenny Barbour and Richard Barbour; his sister, Marie Haddox; his nephews, Brent Plumb and Jason Barbour; his son-in-law, Jonathan Gregory and his brother-in-law, Tony Wharton.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Felicia Barbour; his children: Christy Barbour Lewis (Jared), Heather Barbour Schilling (Scott), and Rebecca Barbour; his grandchildren: Noah Gregory, Mason Kimbrough, Cayden Gregory, Ella Schilling, Drake Kimbrough, and Grayson Schilling; his sister, Linda Barbour; his brothers, Jim (Katie) Barbour, Eddie (Braddie) Barbour, and Don (Lori) Russell;his mother-in-law, Lela Holder; his sisters-in-law, Teresa (Mark) Javins and Pat Buchanan; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his loving dog, GeeGee.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home; Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm at the Hazel Green Church of God of Prophecy with Bishop Harold StClair officiating. Burial will then be in Concord Cemetery.
