Robert Lamon King passed away on October 24, 2026, in New Market Alabama. He was born on June 11, 1953.
Robert was a hard working man. A self taught repair man. He loved taking things apart and figuring out how they worked . He took great pride in his business King’s Appliance and HVAC Repair until he became disabled. He was a devoted husband to his wife Debbie King until she passed in 2019. He was a father and taught many valuable lessons to his sons growing up. He taught them the value in hard work and showed tough love. He loved his grandchildren and was proud of them even though his disability limited his time with them. He loved his siblings but shared a special bond with his baby sister Patsy who he could always depend on. He loved Alabama football, NASCAR, music, and fishing. He always had a great story and a joke to share. He loved the best he knew how and was a simple man.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Hollan King and Alice Boles; his wife, and Debbie King. He is also preceded by two siblings.
He is survived by his sons, Robert King Jr. (Keesha) and Justin King (Alisha); his grandchildren, Kainah King, Christian King, Keelee King, Taylor King, Gideon King, Cayden King, Kasdin King, Laila King; his sisters, Patsy Truslow and Sherry Hawkins.
