The funeral service for Rita Mathis, 49, of Hazel Green, Alabama will be conducted Sunday at 2 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Daniel W. Cloer, Jr; her children, Chris Mathis, Kaitlyn Annette Cloer and Daniel Webster Cloer III; her sister, Reba Poland; her aunts, Jeanette Hall and Joann Eiland and her uncle, Walter Sexton. She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Hillis; her mother, Annette S. Hudson and her brother, Miles Hillis. Visitation will be Saturday 5 to 8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
