Richard Billions

Mr. Richard Billions of Hazel Green passed away at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was 60.

Mr. Billions will be remembered for his love for fishing, playing guitar, tinkering with cars, and for his love for dancing. He was a friendly person who loved others and was nice to everyone, especially children. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loving joking around, and especially treasured time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Learven & Gertrude Billions; his sister, Karren Broadway. His grandparents, Jessie & Ruby Billions and Benjamin & Ruth Heard.

Surviving family members include his wife of 26 years, Phyllis Billions; his daughter, Ashley Billions; his daughter, Heather Cobb; his daughter, Jessica Billions; his daughter, Jennifer Reid; his son, Daniel Green; his brother, Randy (Christy) Billions; his sisters: Kelly (Bradley) Clem, Pam (Bobby) Cain, and Kim (Lee) Broadway; he is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 3pm at Heaven's Way Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will begin an hour before the service.
