Mrs. Pearl Blair, 90, of New Market, went to be with the Lord on Sunday while with her loving family.
Mrs. Blair married the love of her life, Mr. Alton Blair, when she was 17 years old. They created a life of love, hard work and dedication. She was a wonderful mother, grandmama, aunt, and friend. Pearl taught her family to love God and was the perfect example of hard work and devotion. She would always help any way she could, whether by deed or her, at times, brutally honest advice. She was the true definition of "Old School". She was a lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and she loved her family.
She leaves behind countless memories with her friends and family who take comfort in knowing that her race is run and she is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus. The family would like to thank the staff of Encompass Health, especially Resa and Angie, for their care and support during these past few months.
