Patricia "Patty" Kathleen Mills

Patricia "Patty" Kathleen Mills, 67, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on May 30, 2025. She was born on February 21, 1958 to the late Frederick Charles Mills and Mary Nell Cowart.
Patty found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep appreciation for birds, often spending hours observing them from her window. She found satisfaction in growing her own vegetables. Her spirit danced to the rhythm of music; especially the soul-stirring harmonies of old gospel songs. She found joy in tapping along, a simple pleasure that brought her much comfort.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents Frederick Charles Mills and Mary Nell Cowart; her brother Frederick (Rick) Mills and nephew Andrew Mills.
She is survived by her sisters Deborah (Steve) Benson and Mary Mills; her brother David Mills; her niece Michelle Gilliland; her nephews Danny (Stefanie) Benson, Tommy (Chandra) Benson, Arron Mills, Adam Mills, Michael Sims, Brian Mills; son Anthony Laskowski; sister in law Sherry Mills along with many cousins.
A celebration of Patty's life will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Patty's name.
