Patsy Ealy Brock of Hazel Green went to be with the Lord on Thursday while surrounded by her loving family. She was 78. Patsy was a Christian, a long-time member of Charity Baptist Church and a 1966 graduate of Hazel Green High School.

She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) in Ardmore and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including trips to Starbucks. She especially loved making memories with her family, taking her grandchildren on trips to Dollywood, Six Flags, and Lake Winnepesaukah. She looked forward to Christmas craft shows and was always ready for a little fun, particularly when April Fools’ Day gave her the perfect opportunity to play a prank. She showed her love for her family in numerous ways, including making sure her grandchildren received a chocolate Easter bunny and Valentine’s card every year—even after they were grown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Melvina Ealy; her grandmothers, Elizabeth Evans Ealy and Maggie Knowles Luna; her beloved brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Max & Roberta Kowalski Brock.

Surviving family members include her husband of almost 60 years, Roger Brock; her daughter and son-in-law, Pam & David Williams; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim Smith & Jim Schoener; her grandchildren: Joshua (Gail) Smith, Casey (Nick) Horton, Tucker (Kayla) Campbell; She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and Brock family members who she loved as her own, by her church family and by many other friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Jerome officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at noon. Burial will follow the service and will be in Charity Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Horton, Tucker Campbell, Joshua Smith, and Milan Davis

Patsy will be remembered for her faith, her positive spirit, her kindness, and for her love for her family.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
