Patricia "Pat" Faye Mcelyea

Patricia “Pat” McElyea, 71 of New Market, passed away on Wednesday July 31st at home.

For over 40 plus years Ms. Pat cooked and fed all of Hazel Green , Meridianville, and New Market, she enjoyed every minute of meeting and talking to everyone who walked in.  She loved her Alabama football RTR,  above all she loved her family and was so proud of her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her father Henery Ross Parkerson, her husband Mack A. McElyea, and her son Lee McElyea.

Surviving family members include her daughter Jessie and husband John Hall, her grandchildren
Logan Mcelyea, Waylon McElyea, Paisleigh McElyea, Josh (Anna) Hall, and Julia (Steven) Rucki, two great-grandchildren Emmett Hall, and Holden Rucki, her Mother, Jessie Parkerson Camp Harris,  her siblings James (Nancy) Parkerson,  Linda Judge, Donald (Patty) Parkerson, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends on Sunday at 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be officiated by Eddie Dale Lones and held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in New Market. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
