Nichole Danielle Powell

Nichole Danielle Powell passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026. She was born on March 28, 1990. Nichole will be remembered for her love of volunteering at the animal shelter as a foster parent. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her son, Landon.

Nichole is survived by her son, Landon Kil; her mother, Krystle Newby (Butch); her two brothers, Kevin McDonald and Justin Powell; her grandmother, Mona McDonald; and her boyfriend, Mark. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Donald Powell; her grandparents; and her aunts.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:45 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Charity Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
