Newman "N.C." Carl Spray

Newman Carl (N.C.) Spray, Jr., 87 of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on October 23, 1929, N.C. lived a full life serving the Lord and being a faithful husband and a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Newman Carl Spray and Lucy Bragg Spray, and his brother, Jimmy Spray.  He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Frances Jean Spray. He is also survived by his son, Stephen Carl Spray, and his wife, Kathy Spray; his daughter, Jennifer Spray Tingle, and her husband, Thomas Roy Tingle; his sister, Carla Spray Bullock, and her husband Dr. Dennis Bullock; six grandchildren – Stephanie Spray Milde, Matthew Spray, Stuart Spray, Stacey Spray, Austin Tingle, Carlie Tingle, Justin Miller and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at West Huntsville Baptist Church. Services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will military honors will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
