Nell (Stafford) Spray

Mrs. Nell Stafford Spray, 92. of Hazel Green, passed away on Monday.   She was a Christian and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She loved her family and always enjoyed being around children .  She had retired from Regions Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Spray, by her step-sons, John Spray and Michael Spray, by her parents, William Arthur and Laura Patterson Stafford, and by her siblings:  Annie Hellum, Orville Stafford, Kathleen Stewart, Mauvareen Hill, Arthur Stafford Jr, W.A. Stafford, and Kenneth Stafford.

Surviving family members include her step-daughters, Pamela Stutz and Terry Spray as well as several nephews, nieces, and many friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Lefty Perry officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery.
