Melvin Van Ness, 61, of Hazel Green, passed away on Sunday at a local hospital. He was surrounded by his family and had a peaceful voyage home. Mr. Van Ness was loved by many.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Van Ness; His son: Scott Van Ness and wife, Julie; His daughter: Tina Van Ness; His grandchildren: Alex and Kahlee Syharath;
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home.
