Mattie Vann

Mrs. Mattie Mason Vann, age 88 of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Monday.

Mrs. Vann was a faithful member of Pleasant Oak Free Holiness Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, canning, and caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Eugene Vann; and son-in-law, David Norris.

She is survived by her children, Drexal Vann, Larry Vann, and Della Norris; grandchildren, Daniel Norris, Kevin Norris, and Ben Norris; sister, Shirley Pogue; brother, Michael Mason; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and her church family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rickey Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
