Mablean Langford

Mrs. Mablean Langford of Hazel Green went to be with the Lord on Saturday while surrounded by her family. She was 86 and had retired from Walnut Grove School where she worked in the cafeteria for 18 years.

Mrs. Langford was a faithful Christian and a member of the Fellowship First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Langford; her parents, Joe & Carrie Campbell Hunt; She was also preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.

Surviving family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Dwight & Shirley Langford; her son, Phillip Langford; She is also survived by her special friend, Diane Jones and by her cat, Meanface.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Wendell Frazier and Pastor Benny Berry officiating. Burial will follow and will be in Concord Cemetery.

The family would like to express appreciaton for the kindnesses shown by Jada Turner, Mrs. Langford's caregiver, and by Amedysis Hospice.
