Mrs. Lucille Hill Shockley, 88, of Hazel Green, passed away on Tuesday. She married her husband of over 70 years, Henry Shockley, and was a dedicated homemaker until her daughters were grown. She then furthered her education and became a nurse who served the community by providing care to the sick. She was a longtime member of the Hazel Green United Methodist Church and she adored her three grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Henry E. Shockley; her daughters, Dianne S. Moore and her husband, Jackie T. Moore and Lind Edwards-Hamlett and her fiance, James Frank Ray; her three grandchildren, David B. Edwards, Scott Moore, and Amy Moore French. Her sister, Era Jane Campbell and her brother, Bryson Hill. Great-grandchildren, Savannah and Riley Moore, McKenzie Edwards, and Madeline Leigh French.She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.Her favorite quote was Do not give me fish
