Herman WittDecember 17, 1928 ~ August 4, 2009Mr. Herman Witt, 80, of Toney died Tuesday at a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Neda Witt; his daughter, Elaine Duncan; his grandchildren, Cindy Duncan, Kevin Duncan and wife Donna; great-grandchildren, Katie Duncan and Chaela Duncan; his sisters, Nadine Bailes, Helen Lanford and Carrie Lee Terrell; his brothers, Leon Witt and Billy Witt and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandsons. Visitation is Thursday 5 to 8 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Friday at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel with John Grantham officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
