Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Powell age 86 of Hazel Green will be conducted Wednesday, at 12 Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Jerome officiating. Burial will follow at Charity Cemetery. Mrs. Powell passed away Sunday at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Eugene Powell, her son, Jerry Dickey Powell and her parents, Walter and Mary Towry Worley.
She is survived by her sisters, Gladys Sanders, Ruby Tallent and Peggy Acklin and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5-7 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
