Lona Marie Cavallaro Reed, 62, of Hazel Green, AL, was called to heaven on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from Huntsville, AL. She was born in Oak Park, Michigan on November 30, 1951.
Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents: Albert Primo Cavallaro and Esther A. Cavallaro of Alabama, formerly of Michigan; By John David Reed, the father of Andrew and Matthew.
Lona is survived by her sons, Andrew and his wife, Misty, and by their children, Troy (10) and Grace (8); By her son: Matthew Allen "Matt" Reed extraordinaire; Her sister: Sandra Hardiman and husband, Jim of Hazel Green and their children; Her two brothers: Carmen Cavallaro of Canton, Michigan and Albert Cavallaro and his wife, Debbie of Wixom, Michigan and their children;
Lona also has a host of special nieces and nephews, cousins, dear friends, and an awesome church family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at 6:30pm at Murphy Hill Baptist Church in Toney, Alabama. The family will receive friends beginning at 6pm.
