Lisa Diane Boyd

Mrs. Lisa Diane Boyd, of New Market, Alabama, went to be with the Lord Sunday. She was 55.

Lisa was a truly kind-hearted woman who loved her family and taking care of animals. She loved music and gardening. She and her family were faithful members of Hayes Chapel Baptist Church. Lisa will be remembered for her servant's heart and, most of all, her love for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Hughes.

Surviving family includes her husband of 36 years, Eric Boyd; her mother, Bobbie Hughes; and her children, Christina, Joshua, and Caleb Boyd.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 25, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at Hayes Chapel Baptist Church with Brother Eddie Clardy officiating. Following cremation, Mrs. Boyd will be laid to rest in Taylor Cemetery at a later date.
