Lenita Cardin Sloan, 72, of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday. She is survived by her husband, Michael Sloan; Her son, Timothy Atchley; Her daughter, Cynthia Comer and husband, Ron; Grandchildren: Timothy and Melissa Atchley, Corey Schauder and wife, Amy, and Ronnie Comer; 2 Great-grandchildren; Her sisters: Janice Manley, Donna Cantrell, and Janie Honea; Her brothers: Robert Cardin, Anthony Cardin, and Kenneth Cardin; Many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 until 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Benny Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
