Lee Rutherford

William “Lee” Rutherford, of New Market, was born on December 25th, 1951. He was called home on November 3rd, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Thomas; his parents Frances Crawley and Toxey Rutherford; his brother Michael Rutherford.
Survivors include: his brother, Patrick Rutherford and his wife Deborah, his sister, Robin Rutherford; his two stepsons Micheal Goble and Tony Stolz; his four grandchildren, Tyler Goble, Megan Goble, Sarah Goble, and Carter Stolz; his two nieces, Rachael and Laura, and his nephew, Blake Rutherford.
He was a graduate of Greenville High School and Troy State University. He worked in the restaurant industry for over fifty years. He was a long-time manager at Mullin’s Restaurant, and he was the owner of Hazel Green Family Restaurant alongside his late wife Margie. He was an avid fan of Alabama football, Pink Floyd, Betty Boop, and Marilyn Monroe.
On November 6th, 2019, the visitation will begin at 5 PM, and the service will begin at 6 PM. They will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Alabama.
