Lebert Matthew Brannon

Mr. Lebert M. Brannon, 77, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Brannon grew up in Hazel Green and attended Walnut Grove School.   He enjoyed fishing, camping, and the outdoors, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawson M. and Mary Ether Gwathney Brannon, his infant daughter, Amy Darlene Brannon, by his wife, Bennie "Butch" Brannon, by his two sisters, Peggy Gautney and Jean Medley.

Surviving family members include his daughter, Angela (Steve) Ezell;  His son, Lawrence (Misty) Brannon; His son, Douglas (Jen) Brannon; His sisters, Faye and Nancy;  His thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Benny Berry officiating.   Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
