Lary Eugene Melton

Lary Eugene Melton, 72 of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025.  He loved his family and friends, riding his trike and Alabama football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas "Bud" and Ila Melton; and his sister, Linda O'dell.

Surviving family members include his wife, Charlene Melton; son Carlton Melton (Melanie); granddaughters, Katelyn Lynd (Tyler) and Hannan McCollum (Griffin); great-grandson, Lee McCollum; brother, Tommy Melton; sister Brenda Usery (Paul); several nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sisters-in-law.

Celebration of life will be held at Heaven's Way Baptist Church, 3777 Ready Section Road, Ardmore, Al 35739, on September 7th, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
