Kenneth Lee Bowen Sr.

Kenneth Lee Bowen, 62, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on September 3, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1963, in Dade County, Florida, to the late Silas and Christine (Taylor) Bowen.
Kenneth was known for his strong work ethic and was deeply loved by his work family. He worked many years in the cable industry and was especially passionate about HVAC work. He enjoyed playing cornhole, keeping his yard looking perfect, and never met a stranger—he could talk with anyone. Above all, he was a devoted family man, remembered as one of the best men ever.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandra Bowen; his children, Jonathan (Merenda) Bowen, Joshua Bowen, Jeremy Bowen, Karmen Bowen, Cheyenne Bowen, and Tucker Bowen; his brother, Rusty Taylor; and his sister, Marci Dennington; along with many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Lee Bowen Jr. (“BB”), and his sisters, Linda Arra and Pat Chandler.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Billy Loveday officiating. Interment will follow at Cochran Cemetery.
