Kay Frances Swindle

Kay Frances Lewis Swindle, 87, of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away on October 10, 2025, at Lynchburg Nursing Center in Lynchburg, Tennessee. She was born on August 8, 1938, in Belvidere, Tennessee, to the late Oliver and Velma Lewis.

Kay is survived by her children, Connie Renae Richards, Kimberly Carol Shirley, and Stephen (Shirley) Staples; step-daughter, Misty (Steve) Kile, grandchildren, Elisha (Eric) Dimise, Julia (Ben) Dalton, Allison (Tim) Lundy, Jaye (Emily) Brewer, Renea (Matt) Rice, Sabrina (Nic) Chorpenning, Holly Staples (Taylor Barnwell), Oliver (Tabitha) Staples, and Carrie (Justin) Plunkett, Taylor (Bryson) Jenkins, Tayrn Kile; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Gary) Greene and Diane Knight: niece, Jill (Willie) Kimzey, nephew, Josh (Dana) Knight as well as many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Richard Swindle; infant brother; sons-in-law, Randall Richards and R.E. Brewer; step-son William Swindle Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Frame Cemetery, Wet Prong Road, (Hurdlow Community) Mulberry, Tennessee with H.L. "Robbie" Robertson officiating.

Pallbearers include: Josh Knight, Willie Kimzey, Oliver Staples, Ben Dalton, Justin Plunkett, Taylor Barnwell; honorary pallbearers, Trey Dalton and Samuel Dalton.
